Green Comfort is a Danish company whose mission, since the company's start more than 30 years ago, has been to make footwear with high comfort and well-being for the benefit of your feet and body.
One of our most significant ”footprints” is our WOOL slippers which is hand-felted in Nepal from 100% pure wool from New Zealand
Sustainability is more than just incorporating environmental-friendly materials in the production. Consideration for the life of our employees is also part of the Green Comfort effort. This is particularly important in developing countries like in our factory in Nepal where we get our wool shoes produced.

WOOL BY GREEN COMFORT
Sustainability is more than just incorporating environmental-friendly materials in the production. Consideration for the life of our employees is also part of the Green Comfort effort. This is particularly important in developing countries like in our factory in Nepal where we get our wool shoes produced. Apart from being very comfortable and of high quality, our wool shoes are produced according to the 10 principles of Fair Trade. Also, we provide financial support in the local area, so that our more than 50 felters are offered English language training and their children can go to private schools.
WOOL by Green Comfort
The felted wool shoes and slippers hold a unique combination
of good warmth properties from the natural wool and the unique
shock absorption from our EnergySole™.
The wool is handfelted in Nepal, where the production takes
place, and provide jobs for many women in the poor mountain
country. Naturally, the production takes place without chemicals
and synthetic substances.
