Fashionable and comfortable is possible! With this ambition, Cristina Mühle launched her sustainable brand SOFTCLOX in 2006. Her vision was to develop a women's shoe that combines stylish design with the positive wearing and environmental properties of wood. The rigid and heavy wooden sole of the classic clog was replaced by a highly flexible, lightweight version made from poplar wood. The resulting highly comfortable sole is SOFTCLOX's unique selling point and has made the Munich-based label the leading wooden shoe manufacturer on the European market. The company pursues a partnership-based corporate structure and emphasises craftsmanship, high-quality materials and responsible and sustainable production - exclusively in Europe. SOFTCLOX is a finalist for the German Sustainability Award.
